The Barn is perfect

We loved the hamlet, the telephone box on the green housing the defib' and the barn is perfect, a great place to visit nearby Boscastle, Tintagel and of course lots more.  We managed 2 coastal walks and Valency Valley walk.  The barn is very comfortable with everything we needed, lovely bedroom and bathroom and the extras like fresh flowers from your garden.  The very well selected bottle of wine.  Thank you for being so welcoming and friendly, we loved your garden and the sun trap patio surrounded by the pretty clematis.  Thank you and an absolute pleasure to meet you both. Jan and Tim are the perfect hosts.  We have booked to be back next year.  On a separate note: look out on a clear night at the shooting stars and the satellites!  We cannot think of a more wonderful place to stay.  Sept 2023 M & S

What an absolutely gorgeous barn!

After a drenching on the coast path walking from Trebarwith to Tintagel the Barn was warm clean and equipped with absolutely everything we needed for our stay!    Oct 22

Third visit in 2 years!

This is our third visit to the Barn over the last 2 years, so clearly there is something very right about the place.  Tim and Jan were, as ever, very welcoming and the Barn has become home from home for us.  Great location to re-charge our batteries.  It's relaxing and very easy to disconnect from the real world for a week - much needed at the moment.  We will be back!  N & P October 2022

The weather was kinder this time, so we were able to appreciate the sun trap garden.  Home from home outside and in!  If I have my way we will be back next year!  (BOOKED :))

'Your own personal Spa'

Wow! what an amazing cottage.  The Barn is lovely, perfect for two.  The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is amazing!  It was nice having your own personal spa....  Managed to walk some of the SW Coast Path.  Thank you for the welcome tray, enjoyed it all.  Planning to come back for a summer holiday.  March 11th 2022  K & C

Perfection!   

One word needed – from the warm welcome with cake and a bottle of wine to a tour of Jan’s stunning gardens. We have been all over Cornwall from the Cape to Bude. Crackington Haven is a must. We have enjoyed the peace in the evenings in this well thought out cottage. First thing I will buy when I get home is a Jacuzzi bath! G & D - June 2021     

 Perfect Location.   

We have just spent a wonderful week at The Barn in Trelash. It is a lovely, well equipped and cosy bolt hole. We managed to use the wonderful sun trap enjoy a beer or wine during the day and relaxed in front of the wood burning stove during the chilly evenings.
The Barn is perfectly positioned around 15 minutes drive from Boscastle, which we visited along with Bude and Padstow, to name but two. We had some wonderful walks around all three places well as some straight from the door.
The owners, Jan and Tim, were excellent hosts and made our stay that little bit more special.

Exceptional home from home. 
Lovely warm welcome from the owners Jan and Tim AKA The Perfect Hosts. They gave us a tour of the Barn upon our arrival to advise what’s what with the appliances etc then left us alone to enjoy the lovely homemade cakes that accompanied a complimentary bottle of wine. 
The Barn was exceptionally clean and the impression we got was that this has always been the case, even before Covid 19 regulations came in. We felt completely reassured and safe during our stay. Very comfortably furnished. A real haven to return to of an evening after a busy day out and about.
Trelash is a small, peacefully quiet, pretty village. Easy access to main roads. Ideal location/base from which to explore all of Cornwall. All in all, We had a lovely week and were very sad to leave on our last day. Aug 20

Little Gem - And Spotlessly Clean - July 2020

This most gorgeous cottage in a stunning part of Cornwall. We arrived post lockdown restrictions and the cottage was absolutely spotless. Every effort had been made to make us feel comfortable and secure during our stay. Jan and Tim are the perfect hosts, there was Prosecco in the fridge, fresh flowers and freshly baked cakes waiting for us. Such a treat! We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary, thank you again Jan and Tim for your generous gift. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing, get away from it all stay. Beautiful garden to relax in and a bbq for the steaks!! There is lots to explore in the area and Jan and Tim were happy to recommend local restaurants too. All in all a perfect break, we would highly recommend a visit.

The cottage is excellent very clean and well equipped, and in a very quiet area. Plenty of nearby attractions within 20-30 minute drive. Jan and Tim were the perfect hosts, very helpful and always on hand if needed. We felt we had made new friends and would not hesitate to return.

What a cracking holiday let, situated just a short drive from the wonders of the north Cornwall coast, The ideal spot for a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We would highly recommend a stay at the barn it’s somewhere we would be more than happy to return too. JW 

The Barn at Trelash - August 2018

Well there are no words to describe this little gem. Our 25th Wedding Anniversary was during our stay and Jan & Tim presented us with a lovely gift to celebrate our special day. (Thank you both again :) )
From entering the driveway we knew we had found our home from home. We really don’t know how we managed to leave but The Barn will always have a special place in our hearts.
Everything about The Barn is just so high standard. The beautiful bedroom and huge bathroom (I so want one of those) are fantastic and the quaint stairs and comfy lounge with smart tv etc just made it feel comfortable and safe.
Jan and Tim - you truly are STARS!!
