Widemouth Beach  

Parked at the top car park and walked down to the beach this morning, all you could hear were skylarks, and the beach was beautiful!

Caerhays Castle and Gardens

Rhododendrons, Azaleas - many Champion trees. The setting is amazing, with the garden walks raising up above the castle. From the top you can see the car park on the beach. Book online for easy (fuss free) parking and entrance. You do not pay for parking if you have booked online. Cafe looked organised, outdoor seating in the courtyard.  RHS members free on a Monday.

The Garden House - A361 between Tavistock and Plymouth       May  If you like Rhododendrons, Azaleas,  Wisteria and Acers this garden is definitely for you!  It is just coming up to its best.  The Cafe there is open (outside seating) and all is well organised with regard to social distancing.  The lady greeter at the gate is a delight.  Great value and I even came home with some plants :) Happy days....  RHS members free on a Friday.
